Erdem debuted its Spring/Summer 2025 collection at London Fashion Week, and the looks did not disappoint.
In true Erdem fashion, there was of course a powerful story behind the looks. The designer took inspiration from the iconic gay novel, The Well of Loneliness, which was written by Radclyffe Hall in 1928.

In the famed book, which was banned from circulation after its publication, the protagonist grapples with deciding whether to dress masculine or feminine. Erdem's mix of light florals and grundy suits in their SS25 collection attempts to demonstrate this complex.

The British-Turkish designer mixed rugged baggy suits with sweet floral patterns, in order to capture both masculine and feminine elements working together in one look.
The designer also combined a host of seemingly girlish, dressy looks with clunky dark shoes, to send a similar message.
