Erin Foster's masterpiece Nobody Wants This joined Netflix on September 26 and has reigned supreme since... until now.
The rom-com which followed the love story between an unlikely duo- sex podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) and rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) has held the number one spot on the streaming service for almost four weeks!
However, the return of a highly popular teen drama has knocked Nobody Wants This off its throne.
Fans of the series Outer Banks were delighted to see it had returned to Netflix for its fourth season on October 10, so much so that it has taken the top spot.
The first installment of the series which stars Madelyn Cline, Chase Stokes has five episodes which has been viewed 15.5 million times, according to Deadline.
Set in North Carolina, Outer Banks follows a group of friends who call themselves the Pogues as they navigate their teenage years.
The plot of the series focuses on one of the teenagers enlisting his three best friends to hunt for a legendary treasure linked to his father's mysterious disappearance.
The first 10 episodes of the show debuted in July 2020, the second in July 2021 and the third series in February 2023.
Part two of Season four which was filmed in Charleston, South Carolina is set to launch on November 7 with another five episodes.
Although the hype around Nobody Wants This felt much bigger, the series received 5.9 million less views than the mystery thriller coming in at 9.6 million views.
However, the rom-com was recently renewed for a second season- and we cannot wait!
Announcing the news on Instagram, Netflix posted the killer kiss from the first series alongside the caption: 'Put down your ice cream. Nobody Wants This is returning for season 2!'
Although we cannot give you an exact answer as to when the second series will be released, creator Erin Foster did tell The Wrap,: 'I would love to do a Season 2; Kristen and Adam would love to do a Season 2, there’s so much more story to tell so if people like the show, then I would be really excited to keep telling it.'
In another interview, Erin told IndieWire: 'We’re getting a really positive response. And so I think the conversations have definitely started to happen about a potential Season 2.'
'The story in Season 1 unfolds really slowly. And so I think if there is a Season 2 I would want to just kind of pick up where we leave off and continue to take it slow, because I don’t want us to get too far ahead of ourselves. I mean, I want my show to be on the air as long as possible!'
