After a 'drastic' change in her life this year, you would think Jennifer Zamparelli has had enough drama in her life... but instead she has teased a return to her 'first love' - acting!

The former radio host, 44, has found herself with 'space in [her] brain' to consider going back onto the stage since her RTÉ 2FM exit earlier this year.

Jennifer started out her acting career on Republic of Telly before she branched onto the stage making her debut as Marion in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in 2013.

However, while she's better known for her TV presenting and radio gigs now, few people know that Jennifer grew up in the acting world as her mother owned a theatre company.

She has previously called acting her 'first love', telling EVOKE in 2017: 'I'd like to do more acting, whether that’s on screen or stage, because that’s my first love... I always wanted to do acting and wasn’t making any money, so went into sales.'

And now, with some extra time on her hands, she admitted that a return to the stage could be on her cards.

Speaking at the launch of the 2025 season at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Jennifer told the Irish Independent: 'I am excited that I have space in my life to be able to audition and do things like this. I’ve got loads of things, exciting projects lined up that I never had time to do before, or space in my brain to even consider.'

She said she is considering acting again, saying: 'Stage is very demanding and very time consuming, do you know what I mean? Especially with kids, it would have to be the right project, but I would love to. I would absolutely love to. It's definitely on the cards.'

We'd love to see Jen back in her acting era!
